Charis consults, facilitates, and trains organizations in healthy dialogical process, and also works with organizations who need to improve their JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity) practices. We’re also available for facilitating restorative conversations.
Our consulting is led by Jamelah Zidan. Jamelah is the Inclusive Community Manager at Naropa University, where she creates and leads trainings on diversity, generative conflict, and restorative justice. She earned her B.A. in Political Economics from Sarah Lawrence College. She then pursued her M.S. in Education from Sarah Lawrence. She has trained at the International Institute For Restorative Practices, the Boulder DA’s office and in High-Impact Dialogue. She's currently a fellow in the Emerging Leaders Fellowship (https://muslimjewishsolidarity.org/fellowship/) and a volunteer with RAIV, an emergent restorative program to support those impacted by intimate violence.
To request a call prior to consultation, please e-mail Jamelah at jamelahzidan@gmail.com
As a part of our developing Charis Interspiritual Formation program, Charis Foundation for New Monasticism & Interspirituality will make a select list of spiritual directors associated with the program available for spiritual direction consulting as their schedules allow. Because their time is precious, we ask for a donation of $85 (a portion of which supports the development of the Charis program).
Once the donation is made, the spiritual director will contact you within 3-5 days to coordinate your spiritual direction call.
